I'm now getting these new mail pop-ups, and am unable to turn them off. I have a notifier for my personal gmail account, and that is very handy — saves me a lot of time checking to see what has come in. The developer of this extension asks that you help support its continued development by making a small contribution. That can happen if you have too many emails stored in your inbox over 20k. That should be able to give you a notification when emails come in. The windows notifier works under WINE.

I've tried both the methods described in this thread and another thread. I just noticier a new Alienware computer with Windows 10 Home and installed the Desktop Notifier on it, set up my 3 GoDaddy godady accounts on it, but the new email notifications are not updating. I also sent them a picture and told them how to get to the programming. Was wondering what was screwed up. It worked just fine up until that point, and there was no warning of the function being removed.
